Who we are
About Us
The Indiana Junior Charolais Association (IJCA) is a dedicated organization that empowers young people in Indiana to develop valuable skills in livestock management, leadership, and agriculture. We provide a platform for youth to engage in the Charolais cattle industry through educational opportunities, hands-on experiences, and competitive events.
By participating in IJCA programs, members gain not only a deeper understanding of livestock production and genetics but also life skills such as responsibility, communication, and teamwork.
The IJCA hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including educational workshops, cattle shows, and networking opportunities, where members can showcase their talents, learn from industry experts, and connect with peers who share their passion for Charolais cattle. Our annual events culminate in competitive shows, where youth are recognized for their hard work with awards such as belt buckles and banners, which celebrate their dedication and success.
We are proud to be a part of the larger Charolais cattle community, and our members are the future of this vital industry. Whether you are a new member, a parent, or a business looking to support our cause, the Indiana Junior Charolais Association welcomes you to be part of our mission to grow the next generation of agricultural leaders.
